Worldwide Food Expo — the food and beverage industry's premier showcase of processing, packaging, equipment, ingredients and services — will be held in Chicago from 24 to 27 October 2007. The 2005 edition of this biennial event attracted 30,000 industry operators from 100 countries. Worldwide Food Expo 2007 will be held at McCormick Place and will feature 1,200 exhibitors in an area of 110,000 square metres. It is the perfect venue to find solutions spanning the manufacturing process, from receiving and blending, to processing and packaging, to material handling and distribution. Worldwide Food Expo 2007 will be comprised of the Food, Dairy and Beverage Expo and the International Meat, Poultry & Seafood Expo. SIMEI — the largest world exhibition of machinery and the production, bottling and packaging of drinks — will be held in Milan, Italy, from 13 to 17 November 2007.
It is a biennial event with the 2005 SIMEI attracting 770 exhibitors from 23 countries in a covered area of 75,000 square metres. The exhibition was visited by 49,000 qualified operators coming from 100 countries all over the world.
The massive expo, staged over 5 days, will offer a complete panorama of the industry: from bottling plants to machinery, manufacturing and packaging materials, internal company equipment, containers and technological aids. Equipment on display will include: production machines, manufacturing and conditioning equipment, storage materials and containers, equipment for internal transport and materials maintenance, accessories, laboratory products and substances.
